sdf

Overview ¶

Package sdf generates signed distance field images and font description text files from a pair of angel code bmfont font files. It works with a set of files generated from bmfont at 8x the expected final resolution.

Some bmfont .bmfc config files are kept as examples and to be able to tweak fonts a few years down the road when all the original config settings have been forgotten.

Running "sdf name" where:

name.png : is the bmfont generated font image atlas.
name.fnt : is the bmfont generated font layout text file.

will produce : name_sdf.png, name_sdf.fnt
