storage-bucket

A very simple storage bucket for storing all types of media

Deployment

With docker

Build image

docker build -t storage-bucket .

Run image

docker run -d --name storage-bucket \ 
-v /path/to/bucket:/data \
-p 5000:5000
storage-bucket

Without docker

Build

go build -o storage-bucket ./cmd/main.go

Run

./storage-bucketsd --pathPrefix path/to/bucket

The /path/to/bucket should follow the rules below

• The path should not end with a trailing slash
• The path must be absolute
• Inside the folder should be your bucket.yaml file

Getting keys

To generate keys send a post request to your endpoint with basic authentication header. This should math the username and password specified in the htpasswd field in bucket.yaml This will return the list of keys generated, make a note of these keys as they will not be visible again unless all are reset

Contribution and upkeep

This project was made in one week and will not be fully maintained. However if you find a security issue, a method to increase performance or even new features that would improve the usability please feel free to create an issue and I will try to respond as soon as possible
